The Rocca di Angera consists of buildings erected between the 11th and 17th centuries. We handled the renovation of the electrical systems. The intervention was planned in three phases.
In the first phase, we handled the renovation of the electrical panel supply section with Schneider equipment and an 80 kW automatic generator set. In the event of a power outage, this activates within seconds, restoring power to the facility with the ability to operate manually to support major events. During the second phase, we implemented thelighting system in the historic rooms with Erco LED fixtures.
To best integrate the systems, antiqued copper piping was used, along with display cases with fiber optic micro-spotlights that illuminate the exhibited objects without emitting heat, so as not to damage the antique items.
Our solution
In the third phase: a radical renovation of the Scaliger wing was carried out to enable the exhibition of works of great importance and value. For this purpose, a state-of-the-art system with total integration was designed and implemented. Lighting with KNX LED fixtures, Schneider Modbus system for alarm system, closed-circuit CCTV, fire detection with Carrier Fire&Security Italia Srl.
For the air conditioning and air treatment section, Siemens equipment was used, of which we are a V.A.P. (Value Added Partner). The implemented system manages in real time the maintenance of set parameters for temperature, humidity, and air purity to avoid damaging the frescoes and exhibited works.
Illumination of the external walls with warm light floodlights and RGB LED spotlights to create lighting effects in the vegetation.
