PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM
Transforming the air conditioning system that currently uses thermal energy produced by gas into a fully electric VRV system: that is the objective. This change will increase the demand for electrical energy. To support this requirement, the project includes the installation of photovoltaic panels, integrated into the building’s facade. This not only contributes to the innovation of the aesthetic appearance, evident from the rendering, but also to the sustainability of the system.
The project consists of three systems with three different types:
  • Vertical facade system: this system enhances design innovation with 405 WP photovoltaic modules in complete black. The completely vertical and south-facing orientation allows the panels to receive nearly uniform solar illumination throughout all seasons, ensuring consistent energy production year-round.
  • The installation is completed by the other two systems on the roof and entrance canopy, also with 405 WP completely black photovoltaic modules positioned at 8°.
The three systems allow a total peak production of 56.8 kW

The project, in addition to contributing to energy needs, has completely transformed the aesthetic appearance, which according to the clients is innovative and green.

PIETRO COMOLI
TO YOUR PROJECTS,

Our solution

To meet the requirements of First Hotel Malpensa Airport, we designed and installed a photovoltaic system consisting of 140 modules of 405W, complete with optimizers, for a total of 56.8 kWp.

The modules were connected to three inverters of 10kW-19.9kW-17kW respectively.

The installation was carried out in three different areas of the hotel, for a total surface area of 423.58 m²:
– On the parking canopy.
– On the main facade.
– On the roof covering.

On the facade they were positioned vertically, allowing better performance during winter months.

The photovoltaic system enables the reduction of atmospheric emissions of polluting substances and those that contribute to the greenhouse effect.

In one year, the avoided emissions in kg of CO₂ will be 12,410.

HOTEL ENERGY REQUIREMENTS

Significant reduction in energy consumption and production of electrical energy to meet the hotel's energy requirements; compatible with architectural needs and environmental protection.
